The Rain

It rained today...I love when it rains. I call it a lullaby of gray. I like to think it washes our cares away, and then when the clouds disappear and the sun comes out we have a clean slate. Staring out the window, you feel sad. The rain, the clouds, the fact that you won't get to play mini golf after school. But it makes you feel calm, you know...gray, it's a calm color. The sound of raindrops is soothing, like a lullaby...At least, that's how I feel. It makes you sad, but calm and soothed at the same time, like a lullaby. Like God singing a lullaby of gray.
